Socialight Earrings have battery operated lights that may be turned on and off anytime. They run on two watch batteries which last for quite a while. "How long will they last?" Probably about 2 weeks if only used during dusk and nighttime. Don't worry though, you'll receive enough replacement batteries with your order, so you won't need them for quite a while. When you need more, we have them on our web-site.

You're probably wondering, "Okay, so how bright are they?" During the day, you'll notice the lights sparkling indoors...not so much outside on a sunny day. (However, the gemstones really catch the sunlight anyway, so you won't need the lights turned on during the day.) They really start looking great at dusk! This is when the two-color* earrings look their best because you notice both colors shimmering at the same time! When it finally gets dark outside, your earrings glow softly and the facets of the stones really sparkle deeply. They look great and are not too bright for total darkness. We think you'll love them! (You might want to turn them off in the movie theater though, some might object!)

*By two-color, we mean a stone of one color and a light of a different color.

All earrings will be assembled using gold plated findings. If you'd rather have silver plated wires, please specify when ordering in the comments field.

You will receive complete instructions with your order that will explain exactly how to use and care for your earrings. Don't worry, it's easy to change the batteries and they're so small, you can carry spares in your purse!
