Shopping Cart:
- Ordering Items:
- To order items on-line you will
need a browser that accepts cookies, and you need to accept the cookies that the website offers.
(Cookies simply keep track of what items are in your shopping cart.) To order an item, click on
the Quantity tab (Qty) and click on the amount of the particular item you would like to purchase.
Once you have clicked on the proper quantities, scroll down the page until you find the button
that says, "Add these items to my shopping cart," and push that button. You will be shown
which items you have chosen to put in your shopping cart. You may change the quantities or
remove the items from your shopping cart as necessary. You can now go back and add more
items to your shopping cart if you desire, or if satisfied with your order, you may proceed to
"check out."
- Checking Out:
- The next step is to send your order
securely. To do this, push the "Send Order (secure)" button. Choose the shipping type by
clicking the small circle next to the appropriate type. For all orders of products choose
"Collectibles." For Club Membership, choose "Membership." The only difference between the
two shipping types, is that a club membership doesn't have a shipping charge. All orders for
products must use "Collectibles" as the shipping type, if not chosen upon ordering, the shipping
will be calculated after you send your order, and you will be notified via e-mail of the actual
total of your order.
- Customer Information:
- After you choose the
appropriate shipping type, it's time to fill out your customer information. Fill out all your
"Billing Information" first. If the shipping info will be the same as your billing info, you can
check the box which says, "Shipping info same as Billing," and then leave the shipping info
fields blank. If the billing and shipping locations are different, you will need to fill out the
shipping info also. Shipping charges are for regular UPS Ground in the continental United
States. Any other shipping requirements will be calculated when the
order is shipped.
- Payment Information:
- Choose which payment
method you will use to make your purchase. If paying by credit card, be sure to enter your
correct credit card number and expiration date also. Please note: Your credit card and personal
information will not be given out to anyone. These will only be used to complete your purchase.
Credit card numbers and other information are encrypted on our secure server so they cannot be
intercepted by any one. They will only be viewed by the appropriate personnel from The
Wayside Country Store.
- Finishing up your order:
- Once you've filled out all
the necessary fields on the order form, push the "Send Order Now" button. If you missed any
required fields, you will be prompted which fields you missed and you will need to go back and
fill them out. (Use the back button on your browser.) If it appears that all the fields you filled
out are now missing (sometimes it looks this way if you use Netscape), scroll up and down the
page and usually the fields will re-appear once again. Fill in the fields which you had missed
and once again push the "Send Order Now" button.
Once you've filled out all the fields correctly you will be brought
to a screen which asks you to check your information to confirm if it is correct. Carefully check
it for it's accuracy. If it is not correct, use your back button and correct the fields which were
incorrect. If it is correct, push the "confirm order" button at the bottom. If all goes well your
order will be confirmed and you will be given an order number. WRITE THIS NUMBER
DOWN! You should also receive a confirmation by email. Use your order number in all
correspondence with The Wayside Country Store when inquiring about your order
status.
