Byers' Choice Carolers

Display Ideas

Do not put every Caroler away at the end of the Holiday Season. There are many different ways to enjoy your Carolers year round.

For the summer choose the more indoor style dressed Carolers, such as Marie, Louise, The Mother with Toddler dressed in white, The Gingerbread Lady (remove her shawl), The Sunday School Kids, and any others that have light clothing and no coats. Use Louise at her piano and the Girl with Violin as a centerpiece and have a group of Carolers around it. Remember, people sing all year, not just at the Holidays.

Customize some of your Carolers with little props you may have around the house. Place a small favorite toy of long ago that belonged to one of your children in their arms.

Make a small garden scene. A small bouquet of silk flowers in a Caroler’s arm is a nice touch. Put a similar larger bouquet in the arms of the Gardener and replace the poinsettia and holly with spring flowers. Place a few rocks around with small pots of flowers and other miniature items to complete your scene. Choose a Grandmother without heavy winter clothing and bend her to sit on a bench. Put some flowers in her arm or a bouquet on her lap. There are many ideas so let your imagination run wild and have fun. Ideas for different seasons will be added to this section.

Props: The use of props are very important in your displays at home.
